Frequently asked questions
The questions we actually get asked, answered plainly.
Not strictly. We are open 10:00 to 18:00 seven days a week and walk-ins are welcome. Calling 514-824-9117 ahead is recommended so we can have the vehicle ready and give you our full attention when you arrive.
Yes. We work with several Canadian lenders and submit your file to the ones that suit it. You will see the rate, the term and the total cost before anything is signed. In Quebec, a dealer cannot require you to finance through them as a condition of the sale.
Yes, and it usually saves you tax. In Quebec the sales tax on your next vehicle is calculated on the price after the trade-in value is deducted. With combined taxes around 15%, that is real money. We will appraise your vehicle with no obligation to buy from us.
Often, yes, and it is set by law rather than by the dealer. Quebec's Consumer Protection Act sets a warranty of good working order based on the vehicle's age and kilometres: roughly six months or 10,000 km for newer, lower-kilometre vehicles, down to one month or 1,700 km for older ones, and no such warranty on vehicles over seven years old or above 120,000 km. Even then, the general legal warranties of fitness and reasonable durability still apply. The category is shown on the label on the vehicle.
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Arrange it and we will make the vehicle available. A buyer who has had the car checked is a buyer who sleeps well afterwards.
Yes. Call 514-824-9117 and we will hold it while you arrange financing or book an inspection. We will tell you honestly if someone else is already in line for it.
Ask us. Depending on where you are in the Montreal area we can usually work something out. Most customers prefer to pick up at the lot in Dorval so we can go through the vehicle and paperwork together.
We handle the registration paperwork with the SAAQ at delivery in most cases, so you usually leave with the car properly plated. Bring your valid Quebec driver's licence and proof of insurance.
